Techniswage specialises in two main forming processes:
The first of our two main forming processes is hydraulic pushpointing.
With over 10 hydraulic machines which range from 5 to 55 tonnes end forming capacity, we are able to handle a vast array of tube diameters for forming, expanding and reducing.
Our second main process is rotary swaging or hammering.
Originally developed in the early 1900s, the process has been totally reinvented and is now a precision process for reducing tubes either to a ‘tent pole’ type form or tapering tubes up to 1m long.
Hot or warm forming can also be undertaken with the rotary swaging process in the case of heavy-walled parts.
